The sheriffs of Osage County and Johnson County, MO are both refusing to enforce any new gun laws proposed by the federal government. To do so they argue would be "tantamount to an all-out assault on the United States Constitution." But can they do that?

These two Sheriffs are right. They need to "Show Me" how the law applies.

Of course they can. They are obligated not to obey or enforce laws they believe to be unconstitutional. Every public official should do the same.
