There is a world wide food shortage developing as we go into a period of Global Cooling. During the Maunder Minimum wheat prices rose 400% in the UK.

I bet pork commands premium prices over there now. And if we are able to sell more pork to the Chinese prices here will also increase. China’s pork shortage had to do with some kind of swine plague, didn’t it? Pretty dang convenient for the US that China just happens to be in desperate need of something we are trying to sell. Especially with a trade war going on.
