For one thing China is no longer buying short term U.S. debt. The FED has jumped into the action and is buying those short term bonds in an attempt to keep the Dollar afloat. Sooner or later though, they will run out of tricks and then it will be adios to the Dollar.
The IMF if getting ready with a new reserve currency once the Dollar crumbles to dust. This is called Special Drawing Rights or SDR. This is a basket of currencies to be used in place of the Dollar.
The World bank has already moved from Washington to Beijing. And that is another nail in the Dollar's coffin. ;)
