Our society is literally in a death spiral, but nobody seems to have a way to stop it

My last job in Silicon Valley was running a warehouse fulfilling orders for a website. Not one of my crew who graduated from a California high school knew the alphabet well enough to stick something on a shelf in alphabetical order. They did not know that if they were to shelve something under fie truck and they were standing in front of dog that they would have to move to the right.They were much worse employees than illegal aliens with a 6th grade education.
