Warnings About Earthquakes and Global Cooling Poster Comment: 15 bridges in the New Madrid fault area would collapse in a New Madrid earthquake and disrupt food and fuel traffic. The New Madrid fault runs from St Louis to Memphis. Quakes here could cost the economy $600 billion and more. Half of the people of Memphis and St Louis could be homeless. The black population of Metro St Louis is 519,000. 1,371,110 people people live in the Metro Memphis area and the majority ( i.e. over 675,000 are black). It would be very difficult to relocate that many people of any race with no infrastructure and no food and monetary resources. They could try sending them all to FEMA camps. Dr Valentina Zarkhova has noticed that more significant than the slight global cooling is the reduction of the sun's magnetosphere. This allows more cosmic rays (nuclear particles from distant decaying stars) to strike the earth. The New Madrid fault had a major quake on 12-25-1699 during the Maunder Minimum (1645-1715). During the Dalton Minimum (1793-1833), the New Madrid fault had 4 quakes on 3 days in 1811-1812. Japanese scientists also noted an increase in the number of volcanoes during a Grand Solar Minimum. The likely cause of the increase in volcanoes is alsothe increased number of cosmic rays energizing the earth. A collapse of Oroville dam in California would collapse 1/8th of California agriculture. But death of the California water project would make any production of food or movies or computers impossible. In the 1906 SF quake a road just a few miles closer to the epicenter was thrown 20 feet. Imagine whole areas in urban settings where roads, hospitals, schools, water mains, sewers, natural gas pipelines and oil refineries were thrown 20 feet - all at the same time. There are several major fault lines in California. The east-west Garlock fault was according to California Indians who first met Spanish priests 5 centuries ago, the Biggest and Baddest of them all. A Garlock fault quake (Near Santa Barbara) could last 5 minutes and trigger several north south quakes as well: San San Andreas, San Gabriel, Hayward (Under Oakland and Berkeley), Puente hill (under downtown LA). LA county authorities say there are a dozen zones underneath LA. For example, the Ridgecrest quake was on a fault unknown until buildings started falling on residents. There have been quakes as far north as Mendocino. Imagine that happening in a state where black and Hispanic gangs number 250,000 which is several times larger than the number of police. And there are 115,000 prisoners - 2/3rds black and Latino- in the state prisons and another 35,000 in county jails. Chances of a mass escape are high because a loss of electricity would mean the police would have no means of proving who is a prisoner and who is not after one change of clothes. These prisons would be subject to the same loss of electricity, food, sewers and water as the rest of California. Racial divisions might aggravate conditions sufficient for inmates to plan a mass escape for fear of imminent death. The Mexican Mafia runs California prisons. They are so powerful that they forced the MS-13 and the Sinaloa drug cartel to agree to a truce after years of violent gang history. The Federal government operates 121 prisons, 11 are in California. There are rumors that in case of a national emergency that inmates in federal prisons will all be executed to avoid mass prison escapes. Total Solar Radiance today is 1,366 watts per square meter. A drop of 3 watts per meter would give us a Solar Radiance equal to the Maunder Minimum (1645-1715) when wheat prices rose as much as 400% in the UK in some years. Insurance payments have kept farmers incomes up temporarily but insurance on crop losses will evaporate as soon as the losses extend over several years. That means fewer acres planted even if there is good weather in one region for one year. Farmers in America planed seeds, saw them fail, waited, planted late and saw them fail again. It snowed in America in August 1816. World population then was a mere one billion which is 6.7 billion fewer than today. We could easily lose several billion people to starvation and violence. In Dark Winter John Casey warned of a 206 year cycle. Too early to tell where we are on that longer scale. A 3% crop loss can easily be leveraged into a 60% price increase. John Casey concludes by saying we need to prepare now. We are entering the most dangerous geophysical period from now to 2028 as we enter the Eddy Grand Solar Minimum. Dr Zharkova predicts the second decade in that cycle starting in 2020 to be even colder. We will face larger population losses than anytime in American history due, earthquakes, crop losses, cold weather, civil unrest and violence. Casey does not want to calculate potential crop losses as they will be too horrific to contemplate. My suggestion: We need local charities and entrepreneurs to combine to grow food in urban areas on unused gardens and lots. Some could help physically able people to grow food and distribute it to farmers markets and stores. Other disabled or elderly people could lease land to landless farmers in exchange for food the elderly can eat at a time when food prices in stores sky rocket. Some might contribute by a combination of composting and vermicomposting. Compost and peat moss will increase a crop yield from sprouting on trays by 50% over peat moss alone. We might need a nationwide clearing house of information for new growers. A charity could give grants and education to new growers who need help to grow their first crop in their backyard. I would recommend Sunflowers for front yards in restricted urban land use areas. I have expanded on many topics they briefly mention. As you watch the video, you will notice the added material, such as, the number of people in street gangs, prison breaks and mass executions of prisoners. Speaking of the number of gang members; the FBI used to do surveys of gang membership every 5 years or so but they stopped doing that in Obama's second term when the gang membership soared due to an explosion in illegal alien immigration.
