I watched that vid; Very good, quite thorough. NASA's creative license was sloppy beyond words. Stanley Kubrick must have been fired before the final product was released.

I predict ALL the "Apollo" videos will be "lost" soon (just like the supposed "telemetry" and "data" and "knowledge" that allowed NASA to allegedly "go to the moon" and back 5 times.)

At least the expanding earth theory at one time had scientific merit and was thought to be a viable hypothesis.

Modern instrumentation and measurements have found that the earth is not expanding however.

One question I would have is that if the earth were truly expanding, then why have sea levels been rising at a fairly constant rate for the past 10,000 years or so?

If the earth were expanding, shouldn't have they been falling rather than rising, since there would be more area for the oceans to cover?

I know some folks despise video evidence of things yet that's how I learned about the theory so I posted videos related to the topic that I felt explained things quite well.

I have my own theories on why the earth , our moon, and Mars and potentially all the planets expand but my theory of reasons is not the same as the geological evidence of actions.

As for rising sea levels ... well our star is made out of mostly hydrogen and it is spitting out a nearly unfathomable amount of matter every second. More than just plasma and light emissions so perhaps the larger lumps of matter are catching and keeping some of it. But that remains a theory.

Geologically speaking, when we can back it all up into one ball and all the continents form fit into each other from the whole sphere...

Well like I said before,. I posted some videos on it but I know some will just make fun of me for believing anything I see on youtube before looking at the material presented and applying thoughtful consideration to the presentation.

Maybe one day.

Here's another one. Go to an eastern US seacoast and take a picture of the Eiffel tower with your own camera. You can even use a telescope to help you see it.

That's why we need to use compasses and plot our position using navigation techniques such as using the position of the sun by day and the stars at night to traverse the ocean from point A to point B, using GLOBAL coordinates. And no, you can't see Europe from Cape Cod or anywhere else on the east coast of the US.

I was thinking in terms of a square. But if you can see 3 miles 360 degrees, then it is not a square, it is a circle.

The area of a square is the length of the square times the width, so the area A is the length * width of that square;

So a 3 mile(length) * 3 mile(width) square is 9 square miles in area(A).

A circle however has a different formula for area. We use the radius, 3 miles, to calculate the area as follows;

Area (A) = Pi * Radius Squared (r²)

So given a 3 mile radius, Area = 3.14 * (3 miles * 3 miles) = 28.6 square miles

So if you were in the middle of the ocean, being 6 foot tall, you'd be able to see a total of 28.6 square miles.

Gee whiz, why is that I wonder. Ever wonder why they'd position lookouts on ships into Crow's nest?
