I watched that vid; Very good, quite thorough. NASA's creative license was sloppy beyond words. Stanley Kubrick must have been fired before the final product was released. I predict ALL the "Apollo" videos will be "lost" soon (just like the supposed "telemetry" and "data" and "knowledge" that allowed NASA to allegedly "go to the moon" and back 5 times.) Bad Hoaxing. Dude. You can spot the ISS yourself using an app on your phone to tell you when and where it'll be in the sky in your area of the world. I've seen it twice myself. Once was on an early morning before the sun rose, I was checking the sky where it was supposed to appear, and lo and behold there was this bright object in the sky tracking exactly where it was supposed to. I used astronomical binoculars to get a good look and I could actually make out the shape of the solar panels. Another time I was up in Canada visiting relatives, and I showed them how cool the app was. It was about to pass right over head practically and I got them to go outside to take a look. Sure enough it appeared right where it was supposed to and traversed the sky according the projected path on the app. Space travel isn't make believe dude. You know not too long ago some people didn't think men could fly either. But in terms of the app, it can tell you where communication and weather satellites will be in sky as well. You need to get out of everything is a conspiracy mindset. I think the big problem is that people today are afraid to accept the fact that the universe is a REALLY big place, and like to limit their worldview to something more acceptable to what they can deal with.

According to the Azimuthal Equidistant Projection Map, it is used the world over to determine the useful properties that all points on the map. Why? because they display the proportionally correct distances from the center point, and that all points on the map are at the correct azimuth (direction) from the center point. It is also THIS general map that the UN and world agencies use to display our realm.

The UN type world map is not used for navigation, it is used to present the sphere of the earth onto a 2 dimensional plane. Actual maps used for navigation follow mathematical projections that can be used to navigate by compass. Ever been in Boy Scouts? Myself I wrote software to take actual pixel information from a weather satellite, and using a Lambert Conformal map projection algorithm to plot the necessary geodetic coordinates, plotted the pixel data from the satellite into the pixel location for that specific coordinate. It created an actual image of a 3 dimensional visual snapshot of the earth plotted onto a 2 dimensional surface (the picture recorded by the satellite), then plotted onto a 2 dimensional map of the US, such as what you see on TV weather or road maps. So dude, you're messing with the wrong guy. If I were some stoned out kid in Jr. High, maybe you could convince me. But I'm not.
On your map you'd have to keep steering to the left to follow the coastline of Antarctica if you're heading east. It real life you have to steer to the right. Did you know you can actually take a cruise ship to Antarctica?
Given the Azimuthal Equidistant Projection Map is THE one universally accepted map of all navigation, flight, and mapping... Look at the map again. One can why exactly why routes from say Santiago Chlie to Auckland, NZ would stop near LAX. It's almost directly on the straight route to Auckland according to the AEP Map. You'll also find stops on the globe often make NO sense -- UNTIL you see the AEP Map.
