At least the expanding earth theory at one time had scientific merit and was thought to be a viable hypothesis. Modern instrumentation and measurements have found that the earth is not expanding however. One question I would have is that if the earth were truly expanding, then why have sea levels been rising at a fairly constant rate for the past 10,000 years or so? If the earth were expanding, shouldn't have they been falling rather than rising, since there would be more area for the oceans to cover? I don't believe there's any debate going on, just mindless assertions and accusations being tossed out by an individual who wishes to associate 4um with the flat earth movement. I'm just one who likes to curb disinformation when he sees it. If the individual in question were truly trying to debate the topic, he'd at least answer the simple questions posed, such as if gravity doesn't exist, why then do objects fall to the ground when dropped.
