World News See other World News Articles Title: The US and Other Countries are Breaking Coronavirus Quarantine Because… Is it really a good plan for the US – and all of these other countries – to fly people out of the quarantine zone of a deadly virus? AP: China’s death toll from a new viral disease that is causing mounting global concern rose by 25 to at least 106 on Tuesday as the United States and other governments prepared to fly their citizens out of the locked-down city at center of the outbreak. The total includes the first death in Beijing, the Chinese capital, and 24 more fatalities in Hubei province, where the first illnesses from the newly identified coronavirus occurred in December. Asian stock markets tumbled for a second day, dragged down by worries about the virus’s global economic impact. The U.S. Consulate in the central Chinese city of Wuhan, where authorities cut off most access Jan. 22 in an effort to contain the disease, was preparing to fly its diplomats and some other Americans out of the city on Wednesday. Japan and South Korea said they would send planes to Wuhan this week to evacuate their citizens. France, Mongolia and other governments also planned evacuations. Like with everything else on earth, these other countries are just following the lead of the United States, who made the first move to fly people out of the quarantine zone. How is it possible that this is the official policy of the government? Have you ever heard of something so retarded? This is exactly what you would do if you were trying to spread this virus across the entire planet. China did the correct thing by quarantining entire cities where this virus was reported. Why is the US flying people out of the containment zone? Does this have something to do with “human rights democracy”? Is it politically incorrect now to protect the world from a deadly virus? I do not know if the coronavirus is going to cause mass death across the planet. Probably, it will not. However, the governments of the world have said that it might, and it is simply frightening that this is how they deal with viral breakouts. Because eventually, there will be a serious viral outbreak that could kill millions or billions of people. So the revelation that their solution to a viral outbreak involves flying a bunch of people who may have been exposed to the virus around the world is mind-numbing. It is really like the spread of the T-Virus in Resident Evil. The logical thing to do would have been to not let anyone out of China, period. All nations should have immediately canceled all flights that they were receiving from China. And the refusal of any nation to do so should have resulted in that nation also being quarantined. There is no other way, in the age of air travel, to deal with the outbreak of a deadly virus. This really shows how absolutely incompetent the US government is. The US government flew these people out to show that they care about them, it had nothing to do with safety.
Not only virtue signalling but also signalling that the rest of the population was not being put at risk.
