Adam Schiff let the cat out of the bag on the real reason behind impeachment

The second day of the Senate impeachment trial for Donald Trump went no better than the first.

Democrats continued to make blunder after blunder.

But no mistake loomed larger than when Adam Schiff let the cat out of the bag on the real reason behind impeachment.

It was up to House Intelligence Committee Chairman Adam Schiff to lead off the Democrats oral arguments in the impeachment trial.

This proved to be a poor choice.

And that’s because Adam Schiff flat out admitted the Senate needed to remove Donald Trump from office to help the Democrats win the 2020 election.

“The House did not take this extraordinarily step lightly,” Schiff claimed. “As we will discuss, impeachment exists for cases in which the conduct of the president rises beyond mere policies, disputes to be decided otherwise, and without urgency at the ballot box.”

“Instead, we are here today to consider a much more grave matter and that is an attempt to use the powers of the presidency to cheat in an election,” Schiff confessed “For precisely this reason, the president’s misconduct cannot be decided at the ballot box, for we cannot be assured that the vote will be fairly won.”

This was a stunning admission.

When the Fake News Media thought Donald Trump would lose the 2016 election they tried to paint his refusal to concede defeat ahead of time as a danger to democracy.

In the Democrats opening argument their lead prosecutor attacked the very foundation of America – that the American people decide their leaders in free and fair elections.

Schiff undermined democratic institutions with this remarks, but the Fake News Media cheered him on because they are in on this scam as well.

The Democrats admitting impeachment was a partisan power grab designed to rig the 2020 election in their favor will not help convince RINO Republicans to extend the trial by supporting new witnesses.
