Essentially, the streets will be littered with dead bodies, and any realistic effort to process those bodies will either require bulldozing mass graves or transporting those bodies to other provinces for cremation. But that would mean exporting the coronavirus and accelerating its spread, of course.

China may well solve its overpopulation problem with this virus. ;)

50,000 dead could not be kept a secret. Not even under communist rule. Satellite images would show that kind of carnage in one way or another. If it's true, we'll find out. And whatever the number of dead is now, it can be expected to climb 100-fold.

Point well taken and absolutely correct. I guess my point was that if I can't determine the truth about anything in my city, let alone the country, without seeing it with my own eyes, how could that dude? Nobody knows what the hell is happening in China, probably including the Chinese.

Lod's point about the internet is valid, to a point, but I've watched Scott Rea on YewToob debone a whole chicken on camera in 5 minutes, but it took me a frustrating half hour to debone 2 chicken thighs.

This s#!t is going to come to the US one way or another. Either the disease or the economic fallout. Or both. Gonna suck.

The Wuhan crematoria are backing up even though they operate to full capacity. The virus has spread way past the city limits. 50,000 deaths amongst the millions who die every year.
