Title: Why Was The Sun Created *On The Fourth Day*? (Bible Genesis Verses 1 chapters explains why the Heliocentric Model contradicts God's sequence of Creation)

Tyler Doka explains why the sun was created on the fourth day after the earth in this flat earth proof from the Bible.

According to Genesis 1:14-19, the sun was created on the fourth day, which is after the earth was created in Genesis 1:9-13 on the third day.

If you believe in the flat earth model, the sun being created after the earth makes perfect sense. Tyler Doka explains the reason is because first the firmament was created, then the earth, then the sun to be put within the firmament and to give light upon the earth. [It represents] A perfect linear equation on why God would create the sun on the fourth day.

However, if you [as a Bible-believing Christian] believe in the heliocentric model of the "universe," then this does not make sense at all. That means according to the King James Bible (KJV) God created the earth, and the supposed heliocentric firmament which must be [consisting only of] the atmosphere, before creating the [supposed] large gravitational force that pulls the earth in a circle (around the sun). (Poster Note: *Genesis scripture below describes a Firmament that divides the waters ABOVE the Firmament as well as BELOW the Firmament.)

[The Heliocentric Model for a Bible-Believing Christian] would make no sense [if God's description of His own "Creation" is to be believed.]

What would the earth be spinning around? Why make a firmament and say you have placed the lights within the firmament, but the sun is outside of it? Things [God's own word] seems to not line up with this worlds view of the heliocentric model.

According to the King James Bible (KJV), the earth is flat (with proof included in this video), and it lines up perfectly with the linear nature of creation. Which answers the question, "Why was the sun created on the fourth day?"

Genesis 1:6-19

6 And God said, Let there be a firmament in the midst of the waters, and let it divide the waters from the waters.

7 And God made the firmament, and divided the waters which were under the firmament from the waters which were above the firmament: and it was so.

8 And God called the firmament Heaven. And the evening and the morning were the second day.

9 And God said, Let the waters under the heaven be gathered together unto one place, and let the dry land appear: and it was so.

10 And God called the dry land Earth; and the gathering together of the waters called he Seas: and God saw that it was good.

11 And God said, Let the earth bring forth grass, the herb yielding seed, and the fruit tree yielding fruit after his kind, whose seed is in itself, upon the earth: and it was so.

12 And the earth brought forth grass, and herb yielding seed after his kind, and the tree yielding fruit, whose seed was in itself, after his kind: and God saw that it was good.

13 And the evening and the morning were the third day.

14 And God said, Let there be lights in the firmament of the heaven to divide the day from the night; and let them be for signs, and for seasons, and for days, and years:

15 And let them be for lights in the firmament of the heaven to give light upon the earth: and it was so.

16 And God made two great lights; the greater light to rule the day, and the lesser light to rule the night: he made the stars also.

17 And God set them in the firmament of the heaven to give light upon the earth,

18 And to rule over the day and over the night, and to divide the light from the darkness: and God saw that it was good.

19 And the evening and the morning were the fourth day.

Genesis was written the way it was because the authors, being human, were earth oriented. Earth was all around them, and the Sun was just a light bulb in the sky, so it would make the most sense that the biggest and most important object in the universe -- the earth -- would be mentioned first in any story of creation.

So mentioning earth before sun would be consistent with Genesis being a story written from a human, not divine, perspective.

I know the question is only put to Bible believing Christians, but that's my take.

That's certainly one theory and perspective for an alternative explanation of things...

Traditionally, yes, the vast majority of civilization did embrace a geocentric model, given they were the center of their universe.

WERE THEY INDEED CORRECT?

More importantly, the description of Creation (as well as ALL of scripture as I know you are quite aware), is divine-inspired truth. Whether you or others believe this to be the truth is a matter of faith (just as are the descriptions of NASA, Einstein, Newton, Ptolomy, etal and their respective theories are believed on Faith) is up to the individual.

That said...

God being God...there is no logical reason to question ANY limitation of our Creator to communicate His message though man, would there? It's not as though He would not nor could not speak through man -- and yet still allow man to describe things in human words.

It's truth to those who wish to believe it without question, closing their mind to the rest of God's Creation. In Samuel 15:3 God supposedly commanded Samuel to have Saul kill all the men, women, and children as well as the livestock of Israel's enemy, the Amalekites.

1 Samuel 15:3

I would have a strong hunch that it was Saul who ordered Samuel (or whoever the actual author was) to write that God commanded it, because as today, the Jews thought they were superior to other people and thought it was ok to massacre them. With the people being told God commanded them, they happily obliged.

So no, I don't find it to be truth, never mind divinely inspired. God would not need the Jews to destroy a civilization.

As far as all the great scientists and mathematicians throughout history and up to today, their discoveries have been proven beyond question. That you can't understand why an object falls when dropped doesn't mean the rest of the world can't.

Nothing in terms of actual science is based upon faith, it's the exact opposite of blind belief.

That you can't see that your beliefs are truly based upon blind faith, that bad translations of Hebrew texts of dubious origin are authentic and the actual word of the Creator, demonstrates a profound stubbornness that requires a person to ignore reality and all that exists.

That your view of the solar system and planet earth would require virtually every scientist and mathematician across time to have conspired across thousands of years to trick people is a bit bizarre, don't you think?

Especially when you can see the planets and their moons with a relatively cheap telescope.

I would wager you've never, ever, even tried.
