I wrote a thing the other day about Ben Affleck wishing his wife had not divorced him.

Someone responded with this:

Good on her.

The absolute best thing anyone can do is cut the alcoholic out of their life. They will take everything and everyone down with them. No one needs that shit.

When I confronted him, he added this:

I’d be saying good for Ben if he was the sober one kicked her ass out because she was the drunk. If Ben was just living his life and earning a living and she decided to leave because she just wasn’t haaaappy then I’d say fuck that bitch. I have a strong view with addicts fucking everyone’s life up.

To this, I would say:

How many basic values of civilization should we throw out because of your “strong view with addicts”?

All of them?

Marriage is the most fundamental institution in all of society. Divorce should not be legal. This is an entirely new idea, and to simply accept it because of some abstraction like “addiction” is to surrender civilization itself. And for what exactly? If it isn’t “happiness” then what is it?

Of course you are talking about happiness. There was no abuse alleged, and even if there was, so what? If he was slapping her around and she didn’t like that, that would still fall into the category of lacking “happiness,” would it not?

The claim is that unhappiness caused by addiction is a special kind of unhappiness because of your strong view with it? And thus it has a kind of special place outside of the established moral order?

This is codswallop.

People need to deal with the consequences of their decisions. This woman swore a vow before God. You can’t erase that with wish-washy gibberish.

The idea that our most fundamental morality has been flushed down the toilet as we spew catchphrases about how it’s all okay is disgusting beyond words.

And this is happening among the “far-right.”

Normies might say, “if you’re not happy you should get a divorce,” while the far-right comes back with “it has to be a particular classification of unhappiness.”

How about no.

How about if you stand before God and say “to have and to hold from this day forward, for better, for worse, for richer, for poorer, in sickness and in health, to love and to cherish, till death us do part, according to God’s holy law, and this is my solemn vow,” then you mean what you say and that is the end of it.

Saying, “oh sure but if the guy drinks too much, it’s fine to get a divorce” is in the same league as “what if the child consents?”

The same is true for infidelity. There is nothing in that vow that says “I will never have sex with another person.” I don’t defend or condone infidelity, I’m just saying: the only thing that vow says is “I will be with this person until I die, no matter what.”

The same goes for any other “special case” exception that someone can come up with.

If you commit divorce, you are committing an evil act against yourself, against all of your ancestors, against all of the generations to come and against God. It is worse to have this on your record when you stand at the Gates of Heaven than a murder. Because you never swore a vow before God that you wouldn’t murder someone, and you might have had a good reason for murdering someone (revenge, etc.). But no one ever has a good reason for a divorce. Every single time, it is done out of pure selfishness.

If you made the decision to marry in the first place, then you knew you were making a vow before God. This is something you must then live with. Until death.

Of course I understand that a lot of men are the victims of divorce, and don’t want it to happen, as is the case with Ben Affleck. And I fully understand that there is nothing you can do to stop it, because it is legally and socially acceptable, and considered morally justifiable in our society of evil. So I don’t put any blame on men who this happens to. And I know that 90+% of divorces are initiated by the woman. But I want to make sure that everyone understands this: there is never any justification, ever, and the fact that these women do this simply goes to show, yet again, that they are vessels for demons.

The legalization of divorce is the worst thing that has ever happened to White Christian civilization.

Because if marriage is no longer sacred, then nothing else can be sacred. As that is the foundation of the family, and the family is the foundation of every individual.

That's certainly open to debate, discussion, and even derision.

“The most dangerous man to any government is the man who is able to think things out... without regard to the prevailing superstitions and taboos. Almost inevitably he comes to the conclusion that the government he lives under is dishonest, insane, intolerable.” ~ H. L. Mencken

Even Jesus allowed divorce for adultery.
