It started as a fantastic book-shopping oppty, but bore a name that was typically, suspiciously, incongruously multicultural. Then it morphed into one of the true corporate monstrosities of the monster-everything era.
THERE ARE OTHER GREAT ONLINE BOOK AND STUFF DEALERS. My brother, a sometime rare book dealer, told me years ago he was finding it better to deal thru also- but less-evil Ebay.
