(CNN) – The highest-ranking officer in the US Marine Corps has ordered Confederate-related paraphernalia to be removed from all Marine installations.

The order from Commandant Gen. David Berger was one of several initiatives he prioritized for “immediate execution” in a memo sent to senior leadership last week, Marine Corps spokesman Capt. Joseph Butterfield told CNN.

Some of the other directives were posted by Berger on Twitter, including revising the parental leave policy to include same-sex couples, reviewing the possibility of yearlong maternity leave for female Marines and to get more female Marines into combat jobs.

"Our troops" exist to bring Outfest and drag queen story hour to countries Israel doesn't like and obliterate indigenous culture everywhere.

I'm glad you put "our troops" in quotes.

Several years ago a jewspaper reporter when interviewing me asked, "Do you support our troops?"

I responded with a rehearsed line to the effect that I support our troops when they're legitimately deployed in the defense of the United States in accordance with the US Constitution, etc.

Today my answer would be "I don't have any troops."

Glad to see that the USMC is 'woke' now..........

"The government ruling us draws its authority not from the principles of the Declaration of Independence, or even from the delegate powers listed in the U.S. Constitution, but rather from the war to re-conquer the independent South. That conflict, usually referred to by the artfully misleading title “Civil War,” established the fact that the government in Washington is willing to kill Americans in whatever quantity it deems necessary in order to enforce its edicts, and then sanctify the slaughter in the name of some suitably “progressive” social objective.

Do blacks count as "Confederate paraphernalia"?

“I am not one of those weak-spirited, sappy Americans who want to be liked by all the people around them. I don’t care if people hate my guts; I assume most of them do. The important question is whether they are in a position to do anything about it. My affections, being concentrated over a few people, are not spread all over Hell in a vile attempt to placate sulky, worthless shits.” - William S Burroughs

Only if you can find one that was a former slave. ;)

to get more female Marines into combat jobs.

They are still pushing the G.I. Jane scenario.

I got email from some woman who was in Syria on a U.S./U.N. joint task force operation.

She told me her unit stumbled upon a hoard of U.S. Dollars and her share was $2 million. She said she needed help getting it out of the country. I smelled a scam coming on so I deleted the message.

She did send me some nice pics of her holding a bull pup rifle. ;)

H.K. Edgerton would, no doubt.

Last time I saw him was several years ago in Fairview, Kentucky at the Jeff Davis Monument.

Good move. It could have been worse than a scam -- it could have been a set-up. And you could have been looking at some serious federal charges if you had conspired with her on the money thing.

I have a good friend who found out -- after an embarrassingly long time -- that his on-line "Russian girlfriend" was really a guy. "She" was trying to get money from him so "her" internet service wouldn't get disconnected. Ivan had sent some pretty pictures, too -- probably of his own girlfriend.

A Jeff Davis monument in Kentucky? Amazing. I guess it is not Memphis. ;)

Jefferson Davis was born in Fairview, Kentucky.

After the War he donated the family property to the Fairview Baptist Church. On that occasion he began his speech with these words:

"I am not a Baptist. But my father, who was a better man than I am, was."

Jeff Davis was, in my opinion, one of the few great men who also a good man.

Yes and Thomas Jefferson freed his slaves long before abolition was talked about. ;)

I have no doubt there. Smuggling large amounts of cash is not a good idea. I did not have any resources that she might have needed to do anything untoward anyway.

I know a guy with Interpol. I helped him bust some internet scammers in Nigeria. He sent me a picture of four of them handcuffed wrist to wrist like a daisy chain.

He apparently could not get them prosecuted, but they got their machines and all their contacts and they were put out of business too. ;)

Hahaaaa, that is so piercing. EVERYTHING normies think and feel is based in fantasy -- no overlap with reality, no comprehension of the world beyond their remote.
