Another Canadian cannabis producer is slashing jobs and closing greenhouses in the wake of a years-long expansion drive that resulted in an oversupplied market and underutilized facilities.

Canopy Growth, one of the world’s biggest cannabis producers, on Wednesday announced the closure of two British Columbia greenhouses, in Aldergrove and Delta.

Canada is in America last time I looked.

We're all going to have to be on the same page now.

Strange things are in the works at the moment.

Be safe.

CBD oil drops (less than 0.03% THC) really helps pain management and better sleep here.

Bless you Lod, if that helps you along. It didn't do much of anything for me, sorry to say.

Be that as it may and as far as pot smoking goes, I really haven't seen anyone who got any richer, smarter or happier using that stuff. That's my experience. Your mileage may vary.

It's all part of a vicious cycle of use-abuse/social opprobium/prohibition/law enforcement madness that goes on and on and on. This country could have survived very well without it.

With virtually no cartilage in shoulders and back, and a twice fractured hip, pain management is the best I can hope to achieve, not willing to have further surgery for any of my problems. (Suck it up, buttercup)

And unlike BJClinton, I did inhale, back in the day.

Remain safe and well down there, blessings.

Gracious -- I'm sorry to hear that, Lod. If I may ask, is it age- related?

I know where that's at back in the day.

Spent a year in the hospital myself, so I know where pain's at too.

Hope you stay well, Lod.

as far as pot smoking goes

I knew a guy in Florida that was smoking it for his Glaucoma. Not sure what kind of results he had with it since that was back around 2002 or 2003.

The memory is a bit fuzzy because of the meningitis. I bet they had to get out of there when the hurricane came up the peninsula. ;)

No doubt being 73 has more than a little to do with it, but like the WuFlu, who knows what exactly caused the deterioration(s)? I feel well, never get "sick" and give thanks for the life I've lived.

I was just in there for 8 days and I was told the cost was $4,000. For a year I can't imagine how they stuck it to you. :-/

A solid ballpark guesstimate begins at 10K/day for hospitalization these days.

I was in for 8 days and the bill supposedly was around $4,000.

On top of that they gave me an IV of Vancomycin. I went thru a round of that a few years ago and it had absolutely no effect on killing the bacteria which is causing the wounds to remain open on my legs.

At the wound clinics they KNOW that bacteria has a bio-sheath that protects it from anti-biotics. But they still want to give them to me.

What is the definition of stupidity? Doing the same thing over and over and expecting different results. ;)

Hospital costs do vary between rural and urban settings, and ain't nothing cheap here.

who knows what exactly caused the deterioration(s)?

Are there any theories? Could it be from undisclosed environmental damage in your area -- something like that?

Counting our blessings is indeed rewarding. I do it lots.
