Nigerian police announced Monday they had freed 19 women and girls from captivity.

Police say they suspect most of them were abducted and impregnated by captors who plan on selling their babies.

''We rescued 19 pregnant girls mostly from ages 15. The oldest person there is 28 but majority of them are teenagers who are pregnant and being kept in those locations with the sole aim of them giving birth and those who kept them there are to sell babies and make money out of it. We got two suspects … READ MORE : www.africanews.com/2019 /10/01/...

Everybody knows that white men alone have been responsible for all negro slavery ever in history. So this "yellow man" must have been a white man whose visage was inumbrated by a xanthopsic African.

‘‘This yellow man told me that if I bore my child that will carry my child and give me money or if I decide to carry my child that all the things that he spent for my health, I will (have to) give her back, so it is because of (my) condition that I have put myself into all this trouble’‘, she said.

If she ever plays "tropic", I'm going to spend the rest of the game trying to put "thixo" in front of it.

Here's an oppty to watch for -- 'quarterer'. Got it across 2 reds in an online game and just fractured 'em. Confess used an anagrammer ;)

Confess used an anagrammer

I wouldn't have thought to use anagram as a verb. But when playing Scrabble I have threatened to use tomatoed, as in "Jim and I tomatoed Fat Walter's house last Friday night." She wouldn't have it.

Any noun can be verbed, but when you also verb adjectives it really wierds the language.

Ha! Reminds me of that hippie phrase, "Dude, you're harshin' my mellow."

"Dude, you're harshin' my mellow."

LOL -- is that real?

https://www.anagrammer.com/scrabble/

Using online aids is banned in online Scrabble, but I've always tho't there should be an option of both players using them at once. You and WW might want to try the above just for fun in your next board 'n' tile match.

"Harshing my mellow" is real, dude.

We toyed with anagrammer a little this evening. Interesting. Thanks.

She said half the words don't look like real words. Funny, that's exactly what I say about her words every time we play. (OK, fewer than half.)

Just for fun I entered XANTHAN. The number 1 word came back XANTHAN -- 67 points!

I've learned a lot from the strange words it offers. Believe it or not, they're all from a list of words officially approved by some big assn or maybe isc.ro itself.

Once I was in a really tight spot. Really wanted to win a game, had ridiculously poor-looking tiles A I O O O and two blanks. What do you thing the cheat machine came up with to save the day? OOGONIA!

Try the game at isc.ro sometime. It's only 2 players at a time but they're all over the world and you get to converse with them via a little blank at the bottom of the screen. The owners are civilized - - they want you to report bad behavior, foul language and, of course, cheating ;)

OOGONIA! What a tangled web that anagrammer weaves; -- the definition of oogonium includes in the first sentence haploid, diploid, gametangium, and thallophytes. And many more such follow.

GAMETANGIUM -- ha! How did they EVER come up with that one ('a specialized organ or cell in which gametes are formed in algae, ferns, and some other plants'). I didn't even know plants had organs -- wikid sez yes.
