A recent experience I had with someone who hates Trump but with whom I am (or was) on good terms has convinced me that TDS is a real mental disorder, and I'm totally serious. It's just progressed that far. Any discussion of anything that even remotely relates to Trump in any positive way, or even a negative way invokes a psychotic reaction that goes beyond any reasonably ability for the afflicted person to control. In my case, I raised the possibility with some friends of this new anti-malaria drug might destroy corona virus, which apparently triggered a reaction as I did this after Trump's spat with a reporter over it was publicized, even though I had learned of it before then and made no reference to Trump's news conference whatsoever.
TDS is a real mental disorder.
