Kurt Russell Drops Massive Truth Bomb About Gun Control 'If you think gun control is going to change the terrorists point of view, I think youre, like, out of your mind.'

In a recent interview for Hollywood Elsewhere, Kurt Russell shut down a reporters argument in favor of gun control.
The conversation started out civil enough, focusing on Russells performance in the upcoming Quentin Tarantino film The Hateful Eight, but things took a turn when reporter Jeffery Wells described guns as a metaphor that disenfranchised white guys need
[to] feel good about themselves.
If you think gun control is going to change the terrorists point of view, I think youre, like, out of your mind, Russell said. I think anybody [who says that] is. I think its absolutely insane.
Allowing people to carry guns for protection would curb violence more effectively than gun control because it forces violent individuals to think twice before physically harming someone else, he explained.
If Im a hockey team and Ive got some guy bearing down on me as a goal-tender, Im not concerned about what hes gonna do Im gonna make him concerned about what Im gonna do, Russell said.
The tension between the two is clearly palpable in this transcript:
Russell: They can also make a bomb pretty easily. So what? They can also get knives and stab you. Whaddaya gonna do about that? They can also get cars and run you over. Whaddaya gonna do about that?
Wells: They didnt kill the people in San Bernardino with cars.
Russell: But theyve killed others that way, havent they? Yeah, yeah. Whaddaya gonna do? Outlaw everything? That isnt the answer.
Wells: Just put some controls
Russell: Put some controls? What, so the people, so the people who want to defend themselves cant?
Wells: No, not so you cant, just so the idiots cant get hold of them [so easily], thats all.
Russell: You really believe theyre not going to? Are you serious about that? What good will that
? Oh my God. You and I just disagree.

The truth will out. The date of this article makes no difference in the gun control debate. The anti-gunners still use the same old canard, "If only it saves one life." Balderdash!
