Homeland Security aide suspended after sex sting Reuters WASHINGTON (Reuters) - The deputy press secretary of the U.S. Department of Homeland Security was put on leave and his security clearance suspended on Wednesday after being arrested on charges of using the Internet to try to seduce a 14-year-old girl, an official said. Brian Doyle, 55, was arrested on Tuesday night in a sex- sting operation and accused of obscenely propositioning an undercover agent he thought was a teen-ager. The Homeland Security department is one of the federal agencies responsible for investigating child pornography and online exploitation of children, through its immigration and customs unit and the Secret Service. Department officials said those agencies were not involved in this case. "The department is cooperating fully with the ongoing investigation," said department press secretary Russ Knocke, Doyle's supervisor. "We take these allegations very seriously." Doyle had been placed on "a non-pay status and his security clearance, employee badge and facility access permissions have been suspended," Knocke said. He gave no personal information about Doyle, but current and former colleagues expressed shock and surprise at his arrest. Doyle faces 23 charges in Polk County, Florida, related to use of a computer to seduce a child and transmitting harmful materials to a minor. He was being held in a suburban Washington jail pending extradition to Florida. Polk County Sheriff Grady Judd said Doyle was taken into custody at his home in Silver Spring, Maryland, while he was online with undercover detectives. A statement issued by the sheriff's office said Doyle contacted a 14-year-old girl whose profile was posted on the Internet and initiated a sexually explicit conversation. The "girl" was actually an undercover Polk County detective. It said Doyle gave his office phone number and his government-issued cell phone number. He also was accused of using the Internet to send pornographic movie clips and having explicit sexual conversations in online chats with the supposed girl. it just occurred to me - if this police officer had pretended to be a 14 year old boy instead of a 14 year old girl, then the fellow Brian Doyle would not have been a sex pervert, he would've been a homosexual instead. or at least it is taboo to say that a homosexual is a sex pervert today.
He probably would have been promoted and invited to the Bohemian Grove.

you know that big Snow report did reveal some interesting details about that whole Monica thing. First, Clinton & Monica never actually did it. According to Monica's testimony they only had not even 10 sex trysts and they never actually did it. The tapes that Linda Tripp made show Monica was upset that clinton wouldn't have intercourse with her. They did foreplay, masterbation, etc. that was the most celebrated sexual affair in the history of the world and they never actually did it. our leader is dysfunctional. representative of our nation. and another thing about that - once Clinton insisted on having 'sex' with monica in the oval office while 150 people waited for his appearance in rose garden. For 30 minutes they waited while he had 'sex' with monica - that time it was the cigar incident for monica and clinton doing himself. Meanwhile yassir arafat and 150 people are outside patiently sitting in chairs for 30 minutes. You know the media could've hung him over that one incident, but they didn't.
That's an interesting slant you have on the Clinton thing. I'd forgotten that, but you're right, of course. Out of curiousity, has anybody in the Bush admin gotten into trouble for having sex with an adult female of any marital status? I can't recall anyone. It's always some perversity.

so when he waved his finger and declared i never had sex with that woman, he wasn't lying. remember monica said oral sex isn't sex. ha! try that one on a significant other. i remember being appalled about this incident at the time, but after hearing of the deviance and perversity of the [hypocritical] gopers, it pales by comparison.
that is a very interesting take that I hadn't considered - that the GOP does in fact excel in perversity by traditional standards at least. the anti-gay GOP politician in California (Drier I think) who turned out to be very gay though he had a wife & 6 kids. etc etc etc.
A lot of the GOP seems to be made up of those who doth protest too much. It's amazing how many of them turn out to be gay or pedophiles or some other weirdness. It's like the GOP attracts deviants.
