BREAKING: FDA Issues Emergency Authorization for Hydroxychloroquine to be Prescribed to Coronavirus Patients

** On Saturday Dr. Vladimir Zelenko reported that he has now successfully treated 699 COVID-19 patients in New York for the coronavirus. Dr. Zelenko reported 100 percent success using a cocktail of drugs: hydroxychloroquine, in combination with azithromycin (Z-Pak), an antibiotic to treat secondary infections, and zinc sulfate. ** On Friday night the French research team led by the renowned epidemiologist Dr. Didier Raoult was able to repeat his findings from a previous study. Dr. Raoult administered hydroxychloroquine and azithromycin to 80 patients and observed improvement in EVERY CASE except for a very sick 86-year-old with an advanced form of coronavirus infection.

Poster Comment:

Stinkin' Politico reports the FDA action on this medicine as "championed by President Donald Trump" and as a move "supported by the White House, part of a larger Trump-backed effort . . ." Politico does not breathe a word about successful therapies employing quinine which appear im other sources. You cannot read the left press without seeing them twist the knife, sometimes not so gently.

Incidentally, I talked to a doc this week who acknowledges that there are some bad side effects to quinine, but that generally speaking you have to take a whole lot to get there.

I suspect those 699 patients didn't really have coronavirus.

Maybe... just maybe... modern societies with lots of "smart" people should rethink the policy of locking everyone in their own homes to prevent them from getting an illness that has currently been only partially responsible for the deaths of 34850 mostly older people over the age of 60 equating to about 0.0004467% of World population.

Please tell us more.

Zelenko is on the other side of the river, but close enough to NYC that you all know him? Or know of him? From reports it seems there should be no dearth of corona patients in his area.

Why the suspicion? Because his published results are so incredibly good?

Too many patients for his practice area (Monroe, NY)

Coronavirus updates: Monroe County reaches 223 cases and 6 deaths from COVID-19

He is an Hasidic doctor whom I assume confines his practice to the Hasidic communities in Monroe. Difficult enough for one doctor to treat 699 patients.

Ah, yes, now that doesn't seem to add up. Thanks for the helpful info.

Yes and all those doctors have been brainwashed by their training. According to them the only drugs that work are pharmaceuticals. Any other treatment they frown on or run you out of their office for even suggesting such a thing.

Just this morning the doctor refused to consider using Lavender Essential Oil to treat the MRSA wounds on my legs. If they had the balls to try it they might find out if it works. ;)

He has probably had some success with the protocol, but 699 is a weird number. Also, he's getting a disproportionate amount of publicity. The Australians, Stanford team, and the French all have more credibility yet don't get the commensurate amount of press coverage.

Edit: More credibility because their work has been peer reviewed.

The jaded and cynical side of me suspects that this therapy might cause permanent injury and disability for lots of people if taken by millions. And that the Establishment's initial opposition to its adoption is a psy-op and part of a plan to do just that.

I hope that's not true.

The French doctor IIRC treated about 26 patients with his protocol. Would think that was the maximum he could handle.

But not without serious adverse side effects in some patients.

Some people can't take aspirin, which has been in use for 4,000 years (originally as a tea or chewing the tree bark).

Bottom line is the side effects are well known and rare under proper dosage.

IIRC with the first trial not every patient was given the hydroxoquinine/azthithromicin.

What was the result with the second trial with 80 patients?

Edit: Just found the article. 78 out of 80 recovered

People I've talked to in the profession admit that there are side effects, but they are unusual and depend on the physical condition of the patient. People with heart, kidney or sugar problems and pregnant women may also be advised against taking quinine.

Standard doses hurt very few people and have helped folks over the severe symptoms of diseases like malaria or cramps for over a century.

I don't remember the numbers from the original French trial/study. Here is the write up. I see that they started with 48, 24 were control group not receiving the HCQ protocol. With attrition it ended up being less, I think 20 and 16.

He is not at an academic institute. He is using zinc sulfate unlike the academics who refuse to prescribe anything a shopper can get off the shelf cheaply. They would get better results if they used zinc as well.

The Corporate Media could debunk him by sending a reporter an hour from Manhattan to Monroe. They won't verify his work because the Orange Man might win the election in November.

It's crazy how the Democrats won't pull together to save our country. Communism has taken root more than I thought. Trump needs to make a big move to break up the media conglomerates.

How much fresh garlic are you eating? Eat some with every meal. Make sure you get organic garlic and then slice it thin to put it on all sorts of foods, just add it on top of everything from salads to meat, baked potatoes, rice, toast, beans, etc., etc.

When you cook with it, add it last to keep it as fresh as possible. Crush it before you add it, that helps to release the allicin that is the antibiotic. I make a one pot chicken soup with five big cloves of garlic crushed and minced (carrots, potatoes, celery). Kills bugs better than the Orkin man.

I would make Texas-style chili with no beans. I would put a lot of chopped garlic in it since that is where the real heat is at.

The reason it is with no beans, I was watching a movie with Chill Wills.

They were talking about Yankees putting Lima beans in their chili. Chill Wills said, "Ah do believe I would shoot someone that put Lima beans in mah chili." ROTFLOL
