Catherine Austin Fitts just gave an interview with Greg Hunter (posted)saying that food will become scarce. In this video Dubyne points out that global food commodity prices have collapsed because of labor harvesting and transport issues. And the coronavirus has shut down restaurants and food markets so market gardeners can't connect to customers.Brazil has cut back food exports by 80%. He says 2021 will be the first of many hard years to grow food. Food scarcity will be a major issue.
In a sense, anything that is priced above zero is a shortage. However, realistically, there is no such thing as a shortage of food. Food will always be available. Perhaps in the short term, prices could double. However, if they do, the farmers would just produce a lot more driving the price lower as determined by the law of supply and demand.
