http://thankyouharrytaylor.org Watching the video of Mr. Taylor speaking with such sincerity and courage - and then watching the President's belittling response - made me sick. I've thrown together a site to collect thank yous for Mr. Taylor. I'm hoping it will serve to illustrate how many of us felt Harry was speaking the words that many (if not most) of us are feeling. Go over and say thanks. Note: While the design of dailyKos is great, I didn't think it was the right format for this type of thing - too many layers and controls for the uninitiated -- which I hope come to the site. Poster Comment: I'm sure most of you have heard or seen the video of Harry Taylor, an ordinary citizen getting up at one of Bush's little pep rallies and actually telling him...the truth. It's like what Harry Truman said "I don't give 'em hell, I just tell the truth and they THINK it's hell!" Let's go for it folks, let's thank Harry Taylor for saying right to Bush's face exactly what the majority of us think in this country. 2/3rds of us think he sucks. Harry should get the mother and father of all pats on the back for this. Please go to this site and give Harry your thanks and forward to your friends. The goal is to get at least a million thanks for Harry. It's not just about Harry, it's about preserving free speech and dissent in this country and having the guts and integrity to use our rights. GO HARRY!!!

If you could post the transcript here more folks could read about the exchange. I've read them elsewhere and some folks thought Harry might be a plant cuz Bush seemed to be ready with a quick (but weak) answer. Harry's the real deal.
I'll take a look if I can find it, Fred. No, Harry is the real deal. One of the Kossacks at Daily Kos contacted him last night and he's just an ordinary guy. He's no plant.

Go thank him on the site, too, loddie. It's only been up a few hours and they're just about passing 4300 thanks. I don't know if it can reach a million but I could easily see this going over 10,000. Which is a hell of a way to say thanks!
