These poor sweet people. After the China Olympics tons of NK athletes refused to go home -- they'd rather have lived in red China and ended up experiencing its tyranny!

Sad ironies abound. Lady says SKans are too busy chasing money, their kids are in an academic straitjacket from 7AM to 11 PM every day etc., and she's obviously right. Has success spoiled SK? You're about to find out :-s Another video convinced me Korean reunification is a bad idea -- it would be hell on SK! These guileless young folks surprisingly back that up. So all of ameriKans' pining for it and Tromp's posturing toward that goal are totally wrongheaded this whole time.

Unification is good. It is much like East Germany and West Germany. Initially, it cost the West Germans quite a bit to assimilate and support the East Germans, but after ten years Germany was doing even better.

The case of Germany naturally comes to mind, but it's not at all comparable.

Note my comment --

//////////Very interesting indeed. Okay, don't unify -- just take away the communism and NK will bloom on its own just like the rest of Eastern Europe did (besides E. Germany). Soon the Koreas will be like the US and Canada -- no merger needed.

What should become of the Kim dynasty? Are you CRAZY? Give them the same sendoff as the Emperors Ceauescu. The other problems you mention are piddly nothings once freedom breaks out. (Do you care about freedom? You're certainly solicitous of red China.)

Liberated NK troops could be assigned to salvaging the DMZ. As an alternative for the Kim trash, these glorious elite puppies could be forced to walk around at gunpoint finding its land mines the hard way -- to be broadcast live worldwide.//////////

SK could mind its demographics like Americans used to -- and Panama still does. Down there the police will pull you over and check the papers of everybody in your vehicle. Nobody's allowed to move there that that can't prove financial independence. Problem solved!

Yep, in a documentary an older South Korean reunification activist was lamenting that the younger SKs don't want reunification like the older ones did. The younger ones don't have any friends or known family in the North, etc. and believe the Norks would bring only bad -- no benefit. (Sort of like the disastrous results of the US having made Mexico the 51st state a few years ago.)

LOL, for sure -- but it's at least the 53rd after Israel, PR et al. :- s

Obongo said he'd visited all 57 states and I figure that means the ones we're bringing democracy to, because the USG clearly only cares about them.

They love accordeons there. There's nothing ridiculous about that, but people drenched in hard rock. rap, hiphop and similar trash think it's a silly instrument.

By the time the narratrix gets to how NK regulates dress and even hairstyles, they've got me about ready to move there. HAH, you won't believe the very last item on the list -- or its delivery!!!
