As I think they say in the narration, the facility was built so grandly because they wanted it to exemplify American progress -- electric power was a new wonder at the time. Here are some drone views:

There were once plans afoot to restore the place for different uses. Am guessing 2008 put a stop to it, or mebbe ppl realized it would cost an ocean of bux to do it up right.

I've watched a lot of that stuff while in solitary confinement, of late.

I think a good one was a channel called something like "the proper people". They're non-destructive.

Another weird one is called "shiley" (Edit) "Shiey" or something like that, primarily in eastern Europe. That kid is suicidal, at best.

Regardless, none of these kids that are "building bustin'" are structural or mechanical engineers.

Some of their content is really compelling to watch, nonetheless.

Well you really are hip! The Proper People are the kings of the heap - - just love their stuff. Thought they'd done a tour at this place but can't find it if so. Don't know whether to call these kids gutsy or foolish -- just hope they never stop ;)
