Ukrainian Judge Orders Biden Named as Perpetrator of a Crime in Shokin firing
It looks like its getting worse for former Vice-President and presumptive 2020 Democrat nominee for president Joe Biden, as as the judge in Victor Shokins case has just ordered that Biden be named as an accused perpetrator of Shokins firing:
The infamous story of Joe Bidens effort to force the firing of Ukraines chief prosecutor in 2016 has taken a new legal twist in Kiev, just as the former vice president is sewing up the 2020 Democratic presidential nomination in America.
In Kiev late last month, District Court Judge S. V. Vovk ordered the countrys law enforcement services to formally list the fired prosecutor, Victor Shokin, as the victim of an alleged crime by the former U.S. vice president, according to an official English translation of the ruling obtained by Just the News.
The court had previously ordered the Prosecutor Generals Office and the State Bureau of Investigations in February to investigate Shokins claim that he was fired in spring 2016 under pressure from Biden because he was investigating Burisma Holdings, the natural gas company where Bidens son Hunter worked.
The court ruled then that there was adequate evidence to investigate Shokins claim that Bidens pressure on then-President Petro Poroshenko, including a threat to withhold $1 billion in U.S. loan guarantees, amounted to unlawful interference in Shokins work as Ukraines chief prosecutor.
But when law enforcement agencies opened the probe they refused to name Biden as the alleged perpetrator of the crime, instead listing the potential defendant as an unnamed American.
Vovk ruled that anonymous listing was improper and ordered the law enforcement agencies to formally name Biden as the accused perpetrator.
Of course just because Biden is accused does not mean hes guilty. Its just another wrinkle in the curious case of Joe Biden and the Ukrainian prosecutor.
During the call Poroshenko told Biden that Shokin did nothing wrong, that the Ukrainians didnt have any proof of corruption. But because Biden was threatening to withhold a one billion dollar loan guarantee, Poroshenko asked Shokin to resign.
