Rich Little sent me a story headlined, “Police Nationwide Kneeling With Protesters, Joining Protests.” And when it says “kneeling,” it doesn’t mean in prayer. Rev. Little writes,

Shameful cowards & bullies…

Yes, but isn’t that the definition of “police”?

LEO is lost and the left has put in place the EXACT people they wanted. Supposedly, defenders of government say police have one primary duty…keep the peace. They have shown themselves unwilling and incapable of doing that…what is the use in having them?

AMEN!!!! No use whatsoever.

The endless protests after cops kill anyone black ignore the fact that police endanger all of us. It isn’t only blacks whose rights they violate: it’s everyone’s, per Rev. Little’s next point—

Do I not recall these body-armored SS defenders of the realm arresting and handcuffing women playing with kids in a park just a week ago and using a swat team to raid a church last month…now they are kneeling with Antifa and BLM as the cities they are tasked to protect burn.

Disgusting. Evil.

Our forefathers lived free of cops, their violence, enormous budgets, and bureaucratic departments, until the 1850s. Why can’t we?

Most small towns across America had a local Sheriff.

Even in Tombstone, AZ they had a town Marshal. The County Sheriff was a different story. ;)

This is some kind of masturbatory fantasy rewrite of history by an anarcphist. Secondly, the ‘brutal treatment’ of the poor benighted blacks at the hands of the cops has always been the merest ghost of the brutal treatment they have treated each other with. Third, in this fantasy past, no matter when it was historically, if it was in the United States, it was much more violent and bloody than it is now. We live in the least violent time in US history. The statistics are clear. Which means this is sloppy, emotion-driven bullshit.

I laughed when I read that first sentence.

You spell out quite clearly the true history of the black race since it was other black tribes in Africa who sold their enemies into slavery.

Sloppy and emotion-driven is indeed what this is. ;)

We’ve always had some kind of cops

While there has always been some form of law enforcement, a centralized, bureaucratic police system did not emerge until well into the 1800s,
