I delivered flowers in Chicago as a young man.

When we drove the big truck down to Florida we would pick up flowers in Miami and then greens in north Florida.

We had about 15 stops along the Gulf coast over into Louisiana and up into Arkansas. Sometimes we had to go into Oklahoma. When we did our logs were so screwed up we went around that scale in Joplin. We would empty out in Springfield.

It was a great gig and paid $750 a week in CASH. I sure wish I had some of that left. ;)
