WESTMINSTER, S.C. An Upstate newspaper has issued an apology after an 'offensive, editorial cartoon' was published in Wednesday's edition. The cartoon was posted in the Seneca Journal and was done by national cartoonist Al Goodwyn.
It depicted the Democratic Party as a donkey on a sofa with a beer and the "black community" as a woman with small children explaining why she can't leave "him."
The cartoon reads, "We've been together for decades. Plus, he says we'd never survive on our own".....
