I think there's a higher percentage of common sense Black people.
I know there are.
It's often passed on by the grandmothers.
We are getting ready to sell a townhouse built by a freed slave in a historic district. The people who lived on one side of us when we first bought the place as "kids" were black and great. A woman owned the house and rented out a room to this lovable old black man. The old black guys used to come over about every evening and weekend, just hanging out talking and laughing and drinking beer in their back yard. They've all passed on but we still talk about them and love them to this day. The people who live there now are white Michiganders and good folk. The people on the other side, on the other hand, first a white lawyer and his wife, and then two white architects... we have NEVER gotten along with. Royal asshats if there ever were any. Unbelievable. Would take good black neighbors over them ANY day.
