The “Leakgate” issue has five primary concerns for the Bush Cabal – 1. The lack of ANY viable supporting intelligence for the Iraq invasion – leaving the invasion as a blatant War Crime; along with Afghanistan. 2. The idea that Cheney somehow sponsored the intelligence gathering effort which killed the “African Uranium” angle; with the evidence that Cheney - and Bush - knew that the angle was false. 3. That Cheney, et al, then manipulated the fraud of the “British Intelligence.” 4. That the Bush Cabal had a predictable and nefarious ‘method’ for deceiving the public. If identified, the success of any future lies would be practically zero, as they would be instantly detected and countered. 5. There would be no re-election – whether Kerry attacked the ‘war,’ or not. Cheney's ego/image is at the core of the concern, no so much with Bush. Thus, the effort became to distract the “War Crime” angle, with the trail leading straight back to Cheney. Hence, the story became that “Agent Plame” sent her husband , Joe Wilson, on the intelligence gathering trip, as an act of nepotism. The issue became a soap-box distraction from the major issues. While Valerie may have suggested her husband – a good choice – she didn’t have any prerogatives to decide or fund such a trip. In essence, the Bush Cabal was buying the time to get through the election, betting that they could somehow make it through the crisis. Given the continued selective spending into dedicated corporate pockets; they succeeded – America got fucked by the deficit spending, for starters. AND - the Israeli control over U.S. politics is the underlying stink of sweat, in the background. The current White House concern goes to the 'trust' issue for everyone, including the U.S. military, Nobody gets in the way of the money, trust at your own peril! The material for total impeachment of Bush & Cheney is overwhelming, let alone the undeniable War Crime charges.
