Old-fashioned cartoons are problematic. For example, Looney Tunes used to feature firearms in the hands of law-abiding citizens like Elmer Fudd, an obvious thought crime.
Rather than try to shoehorn the old cartoons into the current political orthodoxy like HBO Max, why not just delete them, as is currently done with television programs that cast police officers in a favorable light?
