Midstream; 11/1/2000; Beres, Louis Rene Let us consider, systematically, Iran's growing military threat to Israel. To do this properly, we should begin with a look at the sort of models used by strategic analysts in general. Thereafter, we may move from the general to the particular, from abstract theorizing to concrete considerations of Iran and Israel. ISRAEL: IRAN IS GRAVEST SECURITY THREAT United Press International; 11/17/2003 United Press International 11-17-2003 Israel: Iran is gravest security threat JERUSALEM, Nov 17, 2003 (United Press International via COMTEX) -- The head of Israel's security force says Iran poses the gravest nuclear threat to Israel the country has ever faced, Ha'aretz reported Monday. *** ********* ISRAEL WARNS OF IRAN'S PLANS United Press International; 9/15/2004 United Press International 09-15-2004 Israel warns of Iran's plans TEL AVIV, Israel, Sep 15, 2004 (United Press International via COMTEX) -- Iran is expected to have a nuclear war capability within three to five years and Israel will wait for the international community to stop it "until we reach the point in which we shall have to rely on ourselves," the military's deputy chief of general staff, Maj. Israel has accused Palestinian leader Yasser Arafat of being directly involved in the arms shipment captured last week in the Red Sea. Israel says the large operation, involving an attempt to smuggle millions of dollars worth of rockets and anti-tank missiles, could not have taken place without Arafat's approval. The Palestinian Authority said Tuesday it will question government officials accused by Israel of trying to smuggle Iranian arms to the Gaza Strip. *** ********* JERUSALEM (AP) _ Prime Minister Ariel Sharon called Iran the "center of world terror" and said Tuesday a recently captured arms shipment showed that Iran and the Palestinians were collaborating to strike at Israel. *** ********* Ya'alon: Israel wouldn't hit Iran alone Jerusalem Post; 3/12/2006; NATHAN GUTTMAN, Jerusalem Post correspondent, Margot Dudkevitch and Herb Keinon contributed to this report. Poster Comment: The above is a very small sample of the avalanche of anti-Iranian - pro-Israeli BS that we've been subject to for years. Google "Iran a threat to Israel" for a complete, and sickening, run down. Its time to get a clue folks. The sickos who gave us Iraq are spoiling to "do" Iran. Don't fall for the lies again.

Most of us didn't fall for them the first time. But that doesn't mean we have any power to stop the nukesters from nuking. There's a so-called anti-Semitic pastor out in Colorado named Peter J. Peters who wrote a book in the late 1980s titled "America, the Conquered." When I first heard the guy on the radio around 1990, I thought he was a nut. He still may be a nut in some ways, but he was right about that characterization of our status. No one makes a move in D.C. without checking with AIPAC first.

Pastor Pete is anti-zionist, not anti-semitic...but you're spot on with the goobs checking in with AIPAC before even taking a dump.
I know of Peters. He's Christian Identity (not that I know much of that movement). He gets some things right, but loses me what he gets preachy. He's still on s/w, BTW.
