A South Carolina woman has been accused of attempting to boost her profile as a Democratic mayoral candidate by faking her own kidnapping. Sabrina Belcher, 29, is one of six candidates to become the next mayor of Sumter, but her political strategizing has gotten out of hand. She orchestrated a Facebook Live video with Christopher James Eaddy, 34, showing her being robbed, beaten, and abducted by him. He helped her discredit and smear other mayoral candidates prior to the election. Belcher reported she was assaulted and kidnapped by an unknown man during an attempted robbery. Her vehicle windows were knocked out and she was wounded. She was taken to the Prisma Health Tuomey then released shortly after. Belcher also provided a fake name of her attacker during the police report, but officers later determined she was in contact with Eaddy as they had worked together days prior to stage the reported incident. This was simply an effort to create disorder and discontent in our community for personal gain. As a result, a valuable number of resources, including personnel, manhours of the police department as well as local medical professionals, were wasted based on false information, Chief Russell Roark said. The Govts Actions Have Gone Beyond Anything I Imagined! Developing Story with Dr. Ron Paul Reveals #1 Step Every American Needs to Take. Find Out More Find Out More After getting caught, Belcher confessed to planning the entire ordeal. She was arrested and sent to the Sumter Country Detention Center with a $10,000 bond on charges of filing a false police report of a felony and conspiracy. Eaddy was also charged for conspiracy. Belcher would have been the first black mayor to be elected in Sumter, South Carolina. She is still in the race with the five other candidates and has yet to drop out. Points for creativity, I guess? This is just another point proven that Democrats will do anything to look like a victim in their own party to gain more power. We really should start thanking some Democrats for their continued entertainment and performances this year. Looks like shell fit right in with the other elected Democratic officials.
