I think she's going to be okay. I certainly hope and pray that nothing's wrong with that dear, sweet lady whom we all love so much. When God willing, she gets home safe, sound, and well from the hospital tomorrow, I hope we can have a "Welcome Home, Zipporah!" thread for her.

chrissy, how serious is this? Can you give us any sense of it? "Admitted to hospital" + "morphine" could encompass just about anything, from the not-so- serious to the very worst. Hope it's just another unfortunate encounter with a stump (or some such passing injury). Godspeed, Zip, in overcoming whatever it is and getting your health back.

I suppose it's because she bases her interpretation on what she reads and on her understanding of the human condition. Unlike many churchgoers, she does not take the Bible for a drug store, digging out text here and there to make it sever some dogmatic purpose.
