chrissy, how serious is this? Can you give us any sense of it? "Admitted to hospital" + "morphine" could encompass just about anything, from the not-so- serious to the very worst. Hope it's just another unfortunate encounter with a stump (or some such passing injury). Godspeed, Zip, in overcoming whatever it is and getting your health back.

Unlike many churchgoers, she does not take the Bible for a drug store, digging out text here and there to make it sever some dogmatic purpose. Oops.... Just got word today on a doctor's reading of the various pages of the report (I couldn't talk to the doctor when I picked it up) and he said I also had Typhoid. That explains the 103-104 temp quite nicely (in textbook fashion).

Actually the only medicine I'm taking is Olive Leaf Extract. It's an herbal anti-bacterial and supposedly anti-viral and anti-fungal too. I brought a nice big bottle with me when I came. I'll stick with it and get a followup test in a few weeks to see how things go. I read today Typhoid typically makes you sick for weeks or months but an effective medicine turns you around in days. So far I seem to be on that fast track.
