(Getty Images) By Lawrence Kadish Thursday, 03 September 2020 11:09 AM The fearful truth is our nation's very future is under assault by a Marxist movement that has captured what we once called the Democratic Party, turning it into a snake pit of people and ideas that despise America. Far more subtle than the murderous Islamic attacks whose anniversary we observe this coming 9/11 and far more effective than the bluster of Soviet Cold War leader Nikita Khrushchev, who told Western democracies "We will bury you…," today our nation's enemies occupy positions of power on Capitol Hill. Marxists in America are systematically subverting our nation's values and destroying our society. Their disciples' riot and loot in our city centers. Their followers seek to defund and disarm our police departments. They advocate on behalf of massive social giveaways, creating unstainable debt that will bankrupt America while allowing the Marxist-Democrats to consolidate their power. And all the while, they seek to defame our allies such as Israel with demands for economic boycotts and diplomatic isolation. The frontmen for this movement? Biden, Harris and Pelosi. Their storm troopers? Ilhan Omar, Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, Rashida Tlaib and Ayanna Pressley. Their chief commissar? Bernie Sanders. And now Obama has reemerged as the movement's "elder statesman." We must recognize the threat but, more important, understand what their victory would mean. With their defunding of police, communities will be subject to mob rule. The violence and looting by anarchists within their "police free" Seattle neighborhood is just the initial shadow of what will descend nationwide, making our cities uninhabitable. That mega-trillion-dollar emergency obligation required to stop a pandemic induced depression? It will become a permanent, ever- expanding, multi-generational debt as the Marxist-Socialist agenda has clearly stated that capitalism is dead. They will pursue their vision of massive, permanent giveaway programs because that will sustain their power. Recognize that China views "the Squad" and Marxist-Democrats as their dupes. They share an agenda of reducing America's global leadership which is consistent with China's vision of assuming economic and military dominance in this century. Our response needs to be unequivocal; Reject China's virus tyranny and their other toxic exports. Buy American. Bring manufacturing, technology and jobs back to our country. Only a strong American free-market economy is capable of recovery from this pandemic and to prevent China's theft of our future, aided and abetted by Marxist- Democrats. As we approach yet another 9/11 anniversary where radical Islamic terrorists sought to bring America to its knees, we need to recognize this new and immediate threat from within. We each need to commit ourselves to a patriotic pledge that we stand with America. Don't defund the police. Instead, defund the Democratic National Committee and the Marxists who have abducted a once proud political party to pursue a dark and forbidding vision of America.
