I'm ODing on westerns, especially Gunsmoke, on the INSP tv channel where the bad guy(s) always die. It's really refreshing.

How great-sounding. Never saw the show, am cuing it up in YT. No surprise it started in the 1950s -- decadence was already running rampant on TV but it was a different planet from even 10 years later. So much better than now -- no comparison. There must be some way out of here!
Good entertainment has always ennobled populations and adds so much to life. Bad entertainment is catastrophic, and that's what we're up against now when it's vile beyond description.
