This was real football from the era before BLM. The Bears weathered the assassination of MLK Jr. Butkus is alive in Malibu. Sayers died last month. Sayers is famous for the TV movie Brian's Song.

1965 was very, very good for GSH. The only draft where two Hall of Famers went to one team.

Brian's (sappy) Song is the very last thing that I remember about the Kansas Comet.
