I can't say that I agree with everything the president has done since 2016. Over those years there have been some things I wasn't supportive of. My political views are conservative/libertarian...much in the same way Ronald Reagan's were:

“If you analyze it I believe the very heart and soul of conservatism is libertarianism. I think conservatism is really a misnomer just as liberalism is a misnomer for the liberals.

If we were back in the days of the Revolution, so-called conservatives today would be the Liberals and the liberals would be the Tories. The basis of conservatism is a desire for less government interference or less centralized authority or more individual freedom and this is a pretty general description also of what libertarianism is.

Trump may not be Reagan, but he's done a damn fine job. The polls say Biden is winning...the polls and pompous political pundits all said Hillary was going to win in 2016, but she didn't. And there were tears of sorrow all over liberal land when Trump was announced as the winner.

The dems will contest this election, of course - they will use every dirty trick in the books and some ones that haven't been used before.

But when all is said and done, when all the votes are officially tabulated...you will see democrats weeping and gnashing their teeth once again when Donald Trump continues on as President.

I think the "likely voter" filter they use is going to bite them in the butt. A "likely voter" is one who voted in the last election, and I think this election is going to bring out a ton of the normally apathetic voters, and I think those voters are going to go for Trump. Be prepared for long lines at the voting precincts.

Then there's the enthusiasm factor that polls will also miss. Trump's support base is a lot more enthusiastic than Biden's support base. Though I think Biden will get as many votes from people that like him as he will from the "anyone but Trump" voters. In fact the latter may make up most of his voters.

If it weren't for voter fraud working against Trump from the ranks of the FBI which is already documented to exist, and of which we have no reason to believe has been rooted out by the removal of Comey, Strzok, Page, Brennen and the like, I'd say confidently that Trump has it in he bag. Clearly Trump is nervous though, but that is, like all of Trump's attributes, only human.

I pretty much agree with you on the ideological labels as well as Trump's scorecard. Foreign policy and dealing with the debt are the 2 failings for me. But domestically and with tariffs and all, good.

tariffs and all

I think Trump has renegotiated NAFTA and put an end to the TPP. So those are good things.

And the shut down of Carrier Air Conditioner plant in Indianapolis was averted and hundreds of jobs saved as a result.

It seems there were five assembly lines going and now there are three. ;)
