A federal prosecutor who was asked to investigate whether Obama-era officials acted improperly in the 'unmasking' of Americans mentioned in intelligence reports has failed to find any substantive wrongdoing, according to a report.

The Washington Post on Tuesday reported that John Bash, United States Attorney for the Western District of Texas, had handed in his findings and concluded there was no major misconduct.

Bash was assigned by Bill Barr, the attorney general, in May the task of reviewing the 2016 'unmasking' actions.

I find it difficult to separate Trump from his appointees ! Making excuses for his poor choices has been a high volume mistake (maybe) riddled administration.

That seems to be the finding of an attorney Barr hired or appointed, who is likely a member of the entire swamp team, but is it something Barr agrees with? Certainly Barr can override.

Trump appointed those that do what he wants. He just wants to blame his appointees in order to keep the support of people that voted for him.

Trump may have been elected to be a Trojan Horse because he failed to live up to any of his promises and his actions are what the deep state wants.

I would never vote for Trump because voting for the lesser of two evils is voting for evil. If the American public elect the greater evil, so be it. Either way, it will continue to be bad.

How many times do I have to say that honesty and integrity in DC is rewarded with assassination. JFK and RFK were murdered and we were not allowed a Grand Jury to investigate.

Catherine Austin Fitts has uncovered more corruption in Washington than anyone. She discovered that someone had bored small holes into her home in DC and filled it with nanoparticle poisons so she had to leave.

Trump cannot appoint an AG who will do something because will result in another execution. The penalty for honesty in DC is death.

Do not expect great things from Trump. I just hope he wins so we can be better positioned for when Civil War 2 starts.

I agree the country is pretty hosed regardless. The economic situation is all but unsurvivable unless Trump (actually Congress) starts to seriously slash spending and they just won't do that.

(actually Congress) starts to seriously slash spending and they just won't do that.

It all comes down to which State Rep or Senator can get the most out of the pork barrel projects that are inevitably worked into the budget.

Believe me when I tell you that the State Highways depended on the excise taxes from fuel purchases.

Sometimes the federal money would be tied up a week or so and we had to be laid off. And the Unions really squawked about that.

When we ran down to Florida from Missouri at Lake Park, GA Flying J we would put on as much fuel as possible since the excise was so high there. I recall being out there pumping injectors when the engine sucked air. We even ran out and when that happened you had to call for a service truck to bring out fuel. And that was extra. ;)

Slashing spending won't work except for eliminating corruption. We need 100% money which begins with Lincoln's non-interest bearing Greenbacks.

Lincoln's non-interest bearing Greenbacks.

JFK did that also. They were called United States Notes and were non-interest bearing. The FED was not very happy about it. Another strike against him. :-/
