Until now, the most notable thing about Jaime Harrison was his record-braking fundraising for a Senate candidate: $57 million in the final full quarter of the year before the election. In a state with just over 5 million people, that’s a massive amount of money, enough to dominate television, radio and other media advertising.

The Constitution Party candidate -- who is still going to be on the ballot -- has suspended his campaign and is urging everybody to vote for Graham. But the CP hates Graham! ???

Also, Andrew A. has a newly posted -- caution: almost X-rated -- write- up about Nimrata's supporting Graham now.

Here in South Carolina our choices of poison are really limited this year.

Who wudda thunk a couple of months ago that there would be someone worse than Graham.

At least I haven't heard that Graham is corrupt; but anyone who teaches lobbying in Turkey and gets huge amounts of campaign contributions is definitely suspect.

He is one of the absolute worst rats that ever scurried out of the Palmetto State, and that's really something considering we produced Ben Shalom Bernanke, Stephen COLbert, Pat Conroy and Reverend Ike.
