A supporter of Democrat candidate Joe Biden was arrested after he shot at two Trump supporters who honked at him in a pick-up truck while he was putting up a Black Lives Matter sign, police said.

Police arrested Douglas Kuhn, 50, after shooting at Neal Houk and his son Bradley Lang, both supporters of President Donald Trump, in Kingsville, Maryland, on Saturday afternoon, WJZ reported.

Houk and Lang honked at him while Kuhn was putting up a Black Lives Matter sign in his front yard around 2:30 p.m.

Kuhn then allegedly fired his shotgun at Houk and Lang’s truck, which had Trump signs in the windows, but luckily missed Lang, Houk, and the vehicle.

“He reached down. He had a shotgun right there, pulled it out and pointed it right at,” Houk said. “And we were in disbelief. Next thing we heard was a shotgun blast.”

No one was hurt, but the police tracked down the man who fired the shot.

Police located a 12-gauge shotgun and took Kuhn into custody.

Kuhn is facing multiple charges, including assault and reckless endangerment, and a felony firearm charge.

WMARreported that Kuhn was denied bail on Monday, but the judge said Kuhn could be released into home confinement as soon as Tuesday.

If convicted, Kuhn faces a sentence of up to 100 years in prison. But the victims do not want to see Kuhn face that kind of punishment.

“It’s Kingsville, it’s a friendly area. Everyone honks at each other. We think we were hoping there could be some civility between people who support different candidates,” Lang told WBAL.

Most poorly written story of the month, winner!

“The most dangerous man to any government is the man who is able to think things out... without regard to the prevailing superstitions and taboos. Almost inevitably he comes to the conclusion that the government he lives under is dishonest, insane, intolerable.” ~ H. L. Mencken

I give up. Wimphood reigns supreme!

I knew a model young Christian patriot man who got beat up by a negro at work for NO reason - and refused to press charges. Ppl simply don't know wars are being fo't against them!

I suspect the victims are shrinking because under cross examination they would have to admit that Kuhn didn't actually fire the gun AT them, and their exaggeration would be exposed. If Kuhn had fired a shotgun AT them, it shouldn't be too hard to find at least one pellet or evidence of a pellet having struck the victims or their vehicle. I'm thinking he brandished the weapon with bluster, maybe even momentarily pointed it them, then fired it into the air or at the ground away from the "victims". Brandishing, pointing, and discharging are all crimes, but they're not attempted murder. That said, pointing a firearm is a serious crime because it generally entitles the pointee -- unless engaged in committing a serious crime - - to shoot the pointer.

Every news acct says he shot the gun at 'em over their politics. If that isn't worth 100 years you've gone liberal. Serious punishment is urgently needed, among other things to send a message to other violent, hate-filled, enraged Dumbos out there -- not least Antifa.

If you can't read read any better than that, then you've gone stupid.

I told you what I suspect, not how I think the crime(s) should be punished.

I agree that serious punishment for such crime is urgently needed, and I haven't written anything that could be honestly construed contrariwise.

I will believe he shot AT them when he is charged with two counts of attempted murder. The story doesn't say he was charged with attempted murder. And it doesn't mention any witness either -- other than the victims per se -- where'd you get that?

I can't fathom a reason why the man wouldn't want the perp locked away for 100 years if the perp actually shot AT the man and his son.

He had a shotgun right there, pulled it out and pointed it right at,” Houk said. “And we were in disbelief. Next thing we heard was a shotgun blast.”

The victim right there pretty much admits that he wasn't looking at the perp when the shot was fired. So he cannot know that the shot was fired AT him and not away from him. And what does "pointed it right at" mean? Why wouldn't he supply another measly syllable and let us know at what or whom?

Kuhn then allegedly fired his shotgun at Houk and Lang’s truck,...

Even Hidin Biden could've hit'em with a shotgun, were he aiming at them.

1. My bad on that -- read it on another article, assumed it was in both. Aural witness only

https://www.cbsnews.com/news/maryland-man-charged-for-firing-shot- as-pro-trump-neighbors-honked-while-he-posted-a-blm-sign/

2. Because whites are always wimping out at such times -- parents forgive and love in their daughters' rape-murderers etc. Do you know young Luke in our circles, a black co-worked attacked beat him up on the job and he did didn't press charges.

3. What else would the guy be shooting at? Maybe they saw shot flying across their bow -- or across their stern thru the rear-view mirror -- or heard it hitting the truck.

Would they arrest the guy with no proof or hint of confession? Hope you're right abt all this.

The pattern a 12 gauge makes - even when fired at a target across the street - is smaller than many would think. If a shooter was inexperienced, it would be easy to miss even at that sort of distance. Jerk the trigger and the shots go wide.

Anywho, even a well-written article coming out right after the latest stupidity usually leaves out critical detail. Then folks drive each other crazy posting online and counterpunching one another without all the facts in hand.

In any case, it does sound like the goof with the shotgun needs to be taken out of circulation for a good while. And honking at folks? The wife has persuaded me to avoid that practice when being near sideswiped by idiots on the highway. Prolly a good idea. There's all kind of dangerous nutcases out there, and there's no telling how amped up they might get, even over minor s#!T.
