You certainly must recall the U.S. seized four Iranian tankers loaded with gasoline that were bound for Venezuela back in August.

The U.S. has imposed sanctions on Venezuela. That seizure was how the U.S. intends to enforce those sanctions.

The Russians would not dare to escort those tankers all the way to Venezuela.
