I remember Target allowing men to use the women's bathrooms to eliminate bias on gender issues. Fortunately, my state law won't allow that here.

I believe storefronts in Mexico and many other countries have roll down steel shutters to keep out looters. ;)

Lemme tell you guys something -- except for wealthier enclaves, every dwelling in Panama and Costa Rica has bars on the windows. In CR they're thick and hollow such that windows are almost pointless. In Chile robbery is such a problem that the wealthy live subdivisions surrounded by walls with broken glass build right into the top surface.
