Trump’s lawyers in Pennsylvania just gave Donald Trump the worst news of his life

Donald Trump

President Donald Trump and his legal team are working to ensure that there are no improprieties in the vote count in several key battleground states like Arizona, Michigan, Pennsylvania, and Georgia.

They’re contesting the results of the 2020 election over concerns of widespread voter fraud.

But Donald Trump’s lawyers in Pennsylvania just gave him some of the worst news of his life. “Firms like @JonesDay and any others representing Trump in these outlandish election lawsuits should be dragged through the mud.

Their other clients should know how Americans feel about firms willing to undermine our democracy. The PR sh**storm this stirs up should be blinding,” he wrote on his official Twitter feed.

And indeed, Huppke’s post did stir up a “PR sh**storm,” with two lawyers even admitting they withdrew from the legal challenges after “facing heckling from friends and others on social media about working at a firm that is supporting Mr. Trump’s efforts.”

Not only that, but when asked about Porter Wright’s withdrawal from the legal challenges in Pennsylvania, Trump campaign spokesman Tim Murtaugh attributed it to nothing more than political correctness, saying “cancel culture has finally reached the courtroom.”

To the experts here at Renewed Right, this appears to be another attempt by the Fake News Media to smear and attack President Trump.

Porter Wright Morris & Arthur, the firm in charge of leading President Trump’s legal challenge in Pennsylvania, officially withdrew itself from the lawsuit – abruptly quitting during the middle of the effort.

According to a “Motion for Withdrawal of Appearance” filed Thursday night by Porter Wright Morris & Arthur, “Plaintiffs and Porter Wright have reached a mutual agreement that Plaintiffs will be best served if Porter Wright withdraws, and current co-counsel and such other counsel as Plaintiffs may choose to engage represent Plaintiffs in this case.”

Of course, the move is based more on politics and pressure from “woke” members of the radical Left.

After all, Rex Huppke, columnist for the Chicago Tribune, publicly called for firms representing President Trump to be “dragged through the mud” a few weeks back on Twitter:

When it becomes impossible to adjudicate issues that matter a violent reaction will become inevitable.

Indeed this led to the actions of April 19, 1775 when the British marched on Lexington and Concord to seize powder and shot at the town armories.

They were met by the Minutemen who shot at the British column from cover behind trees and roadside fences along fields.

The women reloaded rifles for the men.

These were the first actions and signaled the start of the American Revolution.

The Declaration of Independence signed on July 4, 1776 and signed by the representatives of the colonies was the official break from Great Britain. Several of the signers died as paupers.

Those meetings in Philadelphia were in fact a reorganization under international bankruptcy law. The British had been counterfeiting Colonial Script which made it worthless.

The original intention was to rewrite the Articles of Confederation. But this idea was scrapped in favor of a new tri-partite Constitution that we now enjoy.

If there is another Con Con that is convened there is no way to guarantee we would not lose our current form of government in favor of a different one.

Someone needs to enlighten Greg Abbot about this. ;)
