"Trump went from a 2-1 underdog to an 8-1 favorite." Same damn thing happened with Hellary in 2016.

Even lowly dogs are smart enough to make the determination between stumbled over and being kicked.

Does any gambling house pay off before an election is over, really, really, over?

That's a damn good question, Loddy.

I doubt it, though.

(Edit) I'll give you odds that the truth will not come out (100-1).

Godfrey Smith: Mike, I wouldn't worry. Prosperity is just around the corner.
Mike Flaherty: Yeah, it's been there a long time. I wish I knew which corner.

Well, at those odds I'll have to take your bet if we can use Best Wishes and Goodwill coins.

How about Murrican fiat? The limit at this table is $5 (US).

I'll even spot you the fin.

If you can afford to lose 500 pennies, I can afford to lose a nickel.

I'm not up to speed on gambler's jargon, but I have a feeling you're way out of my league.

Last time I made a big bet was a few months ago. XOM was at the bottom, with nowhere to go but up.

Three days later I was 10k out of the money, but I'm still gettin' the divs in My IRA. 9.4% rather than 0.01% in the money market.

You're in way too fast company company for me, Dad.

I gotta know, what's a nickel? $500?

(edit) If I'm right and it's $500 Which translate to $50,000, yeah, I can cover, but I won't.

Hell, my buddy Jay, the executor of my estate, walked out of here with a couple hundred bux of ammo in his pocket yesterday.

Doesn't matter much.
