The Crimson, the student newspaper at Harvard, ran an article not long ago by Laura Nicolae, a sophomore, on how sympathy for communism had become chic there. She wrote, "My classmates will graduate with the impression that communism represents a light-hearted critique of the status quo, rather than an empirically violent philosophy that destroyed millions of lives."
She noted further that among students across the country, one third believe that George W. Bush -- of whom I am no fan, as you well know -- was responsible for more deaths than Josef Stalin.
Millennials know next to nothing about the history of communism.
Laura sure does, though. Her own father fled the horrors of communist Romania. I had her as a guest on the Tom Woods Show to tell her story.
In the meantime: I'm doing what I can to get the real truth out there.
After Black Friday weekend ends, this Liberty Classroom special comes to an end.
I've taken 200 clams off the master, lifetime membership.
The best revenge against the history deniers?
Acquiring knowledge, and fighting back.
This makes a great gift for yourself -- or that student in your life who's drowning in propaganda.
