Newsom Spent $15,000 on COVID “Super-Spreader” Dinner at French Laundry

The San Francisco Chronicle issued a recent report about California governor Gavin Newsom’s reign of terror. It is even worse than you would expect. He and his wife have decided that the COVID regulations that he has passed do not actually apply to them. They attended a birthday party with over a dozen attendees, all from different households.
This flies in the face of what he is telling his state’s residents to do, of course. Anyone who is surprised by this clearly doesn’t know the Democrats very well. This is par for the course for them. While the rest of the state suffers and wonders where their next meal is coming from, Newsom and his cronies are dining out at French Laundry.
This (very) upscale Napa Valley restaurant charges upwards of $800 just to access a tasting menu. Meanwhile, California residents are being told that they should not be risking their lives to visit with their loved ones this Thanksgiving. Once the photos from this event were leaked to Fox News LA, people reacted with justifiable outrage.
No one at this party was practicing any form of social distancing. We did not see any masks either. Why, if we didn’t know any better, we would have to assume that these people did not care about their fellow man at all. Isn’t that what any ordinary citizen who behaves in such a manner is told? Wait, it gets even better.
California Medical Association officials were present for the event! Now that the peasants are outraged, these folks are trying their best to spin things in their favor. Adam Housley, a reporter who has been tracking this story, also says that the attendance numbers on this get together are larger than the governor claims. According to him, 22 people were in attendance, not 12 (as Newsom claimed).
The dinner cost over $15,000 and now, the “leaders” of this state are engaging in some unneeded snark. “Because Yountville is my hometown and where the French Laundry is located…I thought I’d do some digging. We are just glad that there is someone out there who is willing to provide us with the real story.

For them, the COVID-19 pandemic is merely an excuse to engage in some good old fashioned grandstanding.
