Scared of COVID? Why This 104-Year Old WWII Vet Isnt!
December 10, 2020
How is it that were supposed to be terrified of COVID-19? The Democrats want to lock the entire country down, taking the economy with it. Even the CDC keeps it simple: Wear a mask, socially distance. Fine, lets do that but lets not shut the world down.
A World War II veteran has recently beat COVID-19 and has gone on to celebrate his 104th birthday. So, if a veteran like Major Wooden can survive the pandemic, shouldnt that give us all hope?
We really need to look at the numbers of the coronavirus. If we listen to the media, the entire world is on fire and everyone in the U.S. is dying. But is it really that bad?
The majority of the deaths are still within the elderly particularly in nursing homes where the social distancing can be difficult. Other deaths are within the elderly in the prisons where there is poor circulation of air.
Although the number of deaths in the U.S. has risen, the death rate itself has not. In most instances, the survival rate is still above 99 percent. That number may drop in the elderly as well as in low- income areas, though for the average American, the survival rate is 99 percent or above.
Isnt that high enough? Isnt that worth being able to live our lives? Yes, we want to be cautious of our fellow Americans, but we cannot simply allow all of our rights and freedoms to be yanked simply because the Democrats are using fear tactics.
In Alabama, Major Wooten can serve as an inspiration for all of us. Throughout World War II, he repaired trains damaged by bombs in France. Although a bit mentally fuzzy and emotionally drained, the Major was able to recover from COVID-19 so that he could celebrate his birthday.
Madison Hospital even shared a video of the veteran wearing a face mask as medical workers sang to him as he got discharged.
Holley Wooten McDonald, Major Wootens granddaughter, talked about how it was amazing that he was able to recover so quickly. She mentions that one of the most important things was that they were able to get him tested and treated right away. He tested positive on November 23 after his daughter (Holleys mother) had gotten the virus.
Major Wooten received the monoclonal antibody therapy known as bamlanivimab, which has been recently approved. Holley said that he started doing better within 24 hours. His lungs are now clear as a bell.
So, not only did Major Wooten survive but so did his daughter as well as another family member one who had to spend a week on a ventilator.
Its a happy story indeed but its also an eye-opener that more people are able to survive COVID-19 than many in the media want you to believe. The reason that there are more stories about the deaths than about the survivors is to keep Americans in fear. Through fear, the Democrats can slowly take away a number of liberties.
Are people dying because of COVID? Yes. Are people surviving, too? Absolutely.
There are more medications and therapies that are being used to help clear the lungs and improve blood oxygen levels. Medical professionals have learned a lot over the year to make it easier for people to survive COVID.
Anyone who gets tested and seeks treatment right away is going to have a better chance of surviving. Those who choose to hide from getting tested and those who have preexisting conditions are the ones who dont have good outcomes.
We can beat this. Were all in this together.
Theres no need to close the economy and make people suffer financially for this illness. More people will survive it than die from it. Major Wooten has made an incredible recovery and so did the others in his family.
Now, if we can focus on getting more stories like this across the country, well be able to stop living in constant fear of the pandemic.

In addition to all the supplements that have been discussed here, I recently added organic ceylon cinnamon to help my pulmonary function. So far, so good, and I'm resting better at night.
The most dangerous man to any government is the man who is able to think things out... without regard to the prevailing superstitions and taboos. Almost inevitably he comes to the conclusion that the government he lives under is dishonest, insane, intolerable. ~ H. L. Mencken
Ceylon Cinnamon stabilizes blood sugar. Good for diabetics.
I am starting an insulin resistant diet even though I do not have diabetes. I am doing it for my kidneys and to lose weight. I will tell you if it works. My BP is down 30 points in a month. I started taking CoEnzyme Q-10. Docs on YouTube that it will lower your BP 15 points.
You need to be able to rest well so your batteries can recharge. ;)
One time we were working Dokken at the Vic Theater in Chicago. I was doing the after show party.
There were these two guys there who were Dokken freaks. I was looking after one of them. I turn around and the other has Dokken pinned against the wall. He was looking over at me like, "Help!"
I got them both out of there. "Alright, you got to meet the band. time to go home."
Then there was this chick leaning against the pillar. Dokken picked up her top and signed across her chest right above her hooters.
Afterward we were walking down the stairs together. Dokken stopped and turned to me and said, "Do you know what her boyfriend said to me? He said, "Go ahead man. She's good." Then he said, "I don't think so. What would you do?"
I said, "I would go and get my Don Dokken mask."
We got them all on the bus and the driver closed the door. Dokken came back up front, had the driver open the door. He came off the bus and shook my hand and thanked me personally. Now that was pure class.
The last thing he said to me was, "Get some sleep." Sleep was kinda scarce in those days. ROTFLOL

When I lived in Illinois, some Mexican put his fist thru the double strength glass in my bedroom window and got into my apartment. He cut himself up and left blood stains everywhere.
The cops took a sample of my blood to make sure it was not my blood. I have Type B. I do not know of any Mexican that would have Type B.
He left clear fingerprints on the window glass. The cops were saying, "We're going to slam dunk this guy."
They caught him shortly thereafter. He took and old Army duffle bag and a obsolete .410 shotgun that had the push bar for internal magazine screwed up. He did not take anything else.
the duffle bag had someone's name on it. The cops were asking if I knew who it was? I said, "How do I know? I bought it at a garage sale. There must be millions of these things around."
The dumb ass glass company put single strength glass in the window and I had to send it back so they could do it right. :-/
